Jordan Benjamin obtained a Master of Osteopathy and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Unitec Institute of Technology, New Zealand. He is also registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand. Prior to this he had worked as a kindergarten teacher in Tokyo, Japan, and is also a qualified snowboard instructor.

Jordan Benjamin predominantly has a structural/mechanical osteopathic approach, and can also apply cranial osteopathy. His treatment style investigates the causality of ailments, with the aim to prevent reoccurrence.

He specialises in:

  • Jaw and gut dysfunctions

  • Pediatrics

  • Neck and back pain

  • Vertigo

  • Health wearables (Steps, HR, HRV, Sleep etc.)

  • Pelvic function

  • Climbing injuries

  • Breathing retraining

His current research on breathing retraining and the autonomic nervous system has produced a breathing retraining guide, which is shown to reduce stress, and he has run several symposiums on this topic. Through breathing retraining, osteopathy can aid breathing dysfunctions (such as asthma, COPD, coughing, sighing, wheezing, breathlessness, and sleep apnea), poor blood circulation, reflux, constipation, sexual dysfunctions, and gut health.
